A preserved microbial culture intended for controlled microbiological studies and reference use.
Suitable for culture-method verification, identification workflows, media performance assessment, and laboratory quality control.

Technical Specifications

OrganismTrichoderma viride
Material TypeMicrobial Strain
Preservation Formfreeze-dried powder
Morphological CharacteristicsSmall filamentous fungi have obvious colonies on the comprehensive PDA medium, with white mycelium in the early stage of the agar layer, spreading and growing, and producing green spores in the later stage. The back of the medium is yellow green
Culture Method① Prepare 1-2 plates as mentioned above; ② Open the safety cabinet, burn the top with an alcohol lamp, quickly drip sterile water to break it, and then use tweezers to crush it; ③ Take 0.5mL of sterile water and transfer it into a freeze-drying tube. After fully dissolving the bacterial powder, transfer it into two plates, each plate containing about 200 μL, and apply evenly; ④ Place the petri dish under the above cultivation conditions for cultivation, and once the bacterial strain grows, it can be used.
