A distributor built around evidence
LABCON was founded in Riyadh to close a specific gap: Saudi laboratories could buy consumables easily enough, but sourcing a certified reference material with a traceable value, a current certificate and a sensible remaining shelf life meant long lead times and a great deal of chasing.
We work back-to-back with the manufacturer rather than holding heavy local stock. That is slower to set up and faster to deliver — the lot you receive was made recently, its documents match it, and nothing has aged on a shelf between the producer and your bench.
The catalogue spans analytical and reference products, laboratory consumables, and the tools that handle them. What ties it together is not a category: it is that every line comes from a maker who can show their working.

Selection
How we choose who we represent
A distributor is only as good as the manufacturers behind it. These are the grounds on which a partner is taken on, and the grounds on which one would be dropped.
The manufacturer holds its own accreditation
ISO 17034 for reference material producers, ISO/IEC 17025 for the calibration and testing behind the assigned value. We verify the scope covers the product, not merely the company.
The value is traceable and the method is stated
A certified value means little without the measurement it came from. We ask how the value was assigned and against what it is traceable, before a line is added to the catalogue.
Documents travel with the lot
A certificate of analysis tied to the specific lot, a current safety data sheet, and a specification. Not a product-line PDF that was written once.
The producer follows recognised standards
Development and production run to published standards rather than to house practice, and the producer can say which standards and show the records.
These standards are held by the manufacturers LABCON represents, not by LABCON. Where a product carries an accreditation, the certificate names the manufacturer that issued it.
