Bioware

A preserved microbial culture intended for controlled microbiological studies and reference use.
Suitable for culture-method verification, identification workflows, media performance assessment, and laboratory quality control.

Technical Specifications

OrganismMycoplasmoides pneumoniae
Material TypeMicrobial Strain
Preservation FormFreeze dried pellet
Morphological CharacteristicsAfter 20 days of cultivation, the color of the culture tube changed from red to yellow
Culture Method① Prepare 4-5 test tubes containing 4.5mL of prepared mycoplasma culture medium (with added serum and penicillin); ② Open the safety cabinet, burn the top with an alcohol lamp, quickly drip sterile water to break it, and then use tweezers to crush it; ③ Transfer 0.5mL of liquid culture medium into a freeze-drying tube, dissolve it thoroughly, and then transfer it back into the first liquid test tube; ④ Take 0.5mL of suspension from the first test tube and transfer it to the second test tube; ⑤ Repeat the above operation and dilute the gradient to the last tube (note: one tube needs to be left as a blank control). ⑥ Cultivate under the above culture conditions, and the strain can be used once it grows (the color of the culture tube changes from red to yellow).
