Material TypeMicrobial Strain
Preservation FormFrozen vial
Culture Method① Dissolve the Frozen vial in a 37 °C water bath and shake rapidly for dissolution; ② Wipe the outer wall of the Frozen vial with an alcohol swab for disinfection, and then transfer it to a safe cabinet for operation; ③ Unscrew the tube cap, aspirate all the dissolved solution, and transfer it into a test tube containing 5-6mL of culture medium; ④ Then transfer to the above cultivation conditions for cultivation. ⑤ After 10 days of cultivation, the broth culture is not turbid, and there will be a slight precipitate at the bottom after centrifugation (Borrelia burgdorferi is a fragile and sensitive microorganism that requires the use of suitable culture medium for growth. Rabbit serum is crucial for the growth of this organism. The use of freshly prepared culture medium can promote growth. Culture media that have been prepared for more than a month should not be used.)
