Morphological CharacteristicsSmall filamentous fungi produce distinct colonies on PDA medium. Initial mycelium appears white, dense, and vigorous, later producing gray spores that cover the entire Agar plate.
Culture Method① Prepare 1-2 plates as above; ② Open in a safety cabinet, cauterize the top with an alcohol lamp, then quickly add sterile water to rupture it; break it apart with forceps; ③ Pipette 0.5mL sterile water into the freeze-dried vial, dissolve the powder completely, then dispense approximately 200μL onto each of two plates; spread evenly; ④ Incubate plates under the specified conditions. The culture is ready for use once the fungal strain grows.
